Our sweet Danie has written a note especially for this blog, as follows:

To all of my followers ;) hahaha :D just kidding, but really for those of you who have been interested in what is going on on my mission I have an update and a request :) First of all things are going so great!   They are beyond hard but I know the Lord is making of me what He wants me to become and I am perfectly okay with that :)  We are planning for the baptism of Maria this Saturday so if you could all keep her in your prayers that would be wonderful.  Satan is attacking these wonderful people like crazy let me tell you!  Our ward is fantastic! They are so loving and kind and are truly some of my dearest friends now. They are basically family :)  I am climbing hills every day in my area and the cold has finally hit. There are miracles in every nook and cranny and that is just so fun.  We are all really motivated right now because the temple should be dedicated in just about a years time and from what they have told us they will not have enough temple workers with the current members so we have got to find them, baptize/reactivate them, and prepare them to work in the temple :)  Talk about a vision :) It is so clear what we need to do and where we want these people to go :) We want eternal families for everyone!!!! :)  Now for my request,  First of all, thank you for all of the love you are sending and for your excitement for my homecoming :)  I feel extremely loved :)  However, I need your help.  I want to give the Lord all my heart, might, mind and strength in every moment possible and I have this dream of reading missionary experiences from all of the people I care about so much :)  There is no time to be trunky haha :D  Your stories motivate the people here so much :) and they help motivate me as well :) So I guess what I am asking is, keep writing and tell me how you are sharing the gospel :)  How are you showing the people around you the love of God?  How are you making their day better? :)  Your experiences will make a difference there, and can help the people make a difference here :)  Whether you are mormon like me or not we all have it in us to make this world a better place so fill me in on how your are doing it :)  It all starts with an act of love.  As our prophet has just said in the last general conference "love is the very essence of the gospel"  No more anger, lack of patience, frustration, and unkind words...just love :)  Love you guys!!! Thanks for everything :)

As you can see, Danie is as enthusiastic about her mission as ever.  She tries not to focus on how soon she is coming home (unlike her Mom) but on how much she can do with the time she has left in Argentina.  I am sure she will come back gungho about continuing what she has learned.  We continue to encourage her as if she had her whole "formal" mission still ahead and keep thoughts of her return, in our hearts.  Thanks to all of you who love and support her also, and don't mention to her that I am saying, "Yahoo! My girl comes home in three months and three weeks!"
